Introduction :
Since its official implementation in 2023, Taiwan’s Citizen Judge System has accumulated a significant number of trial cases and practical experiences. This enables us to observe the effectiveness of the system in operation, while also exploring potential challenges and directions for future improvement.
We are honored to invite Judge Huang Hsiang-Yin (黃湘瑩法官) to introduce the practical operation of Citizen Judge trials during the Criminal Evidence Law course and to share her valuable firsthand experience participating in the system.
The lecture will be conducted in English, with interpretation assistance provided by Professor Chien Shih-Chun (簡士淳老師). We warmly welcome everyone to attend!
